1168097_black_overloadWrinkles on the forehead and face are just plain ugly. There is no other way around it, this happens to be the truth about wrinkles. As a person ages, they may begin to see wrinkles appearing on their forehead or face.

Let’s go ahead and take a look how facial and forehead wrinkles are caused as well as how to prevent them, shall we?

Wrinkles that appear on the face can be seen rather easily – although certainly not as easily as most women think they can be seen (oh stop it, you’re over-exaggerating – to a point…). This is mainly because a person’s facial expressions usually appear more on one side of the face. Not only do facial expressions play a part in wrinkles that appear on the face, but the way a person sleeps also plays a huge role in causing wrinkles believe it or not. The person’s resting position (whether it is left or right) determines how the wrinkles will appear and form on the face. This is, ultimately, caused by gravitational force over long periods of time.

There are other causes that are said to play a part in the development of forehead and facial wrinkles as well. These are said to be prior or past acne problems, prior, past or current cigarette smoking habits, facial injuries, plastic surgeries or Botox and even excessive and/or prolonged exposure to the sun or tanning booths. The lines that occur on the forehead are exceptionally deep, which makes them more easily visible than other wrinkles – at least in regards to the face that is.

The ways that you can actually help to prevent facial and forehead wrinkles are both simple and numerous. One of the more popular methods of facial and forehead wrinkle prevention is to wash your face with warm water twice daily. You can also make sure that the cleanser that you use on your face and forehead is gentle, as this will help make sure  the prevention process is actually working effectively and not being overly harsh to the surface of your facial skin.

If you stop smoking, this will reduce the amount of toxins that are within your body. This also goes for exposure to the sun, if you limit the amount of exposure to the sun that your body has, you will be able to help prevent forehead and facial wrinkles. One very useful method for limiting the amount of sun exposure that your body receives is to apply sunblock.

As you can see, forehead and facial wrinkles are caused by many things. This means that there are many different prevention methods that you can use to prevent the appearance of wrinkles on the face and forehead. There is also many different treatment options that you can use in order to make the wrinkles go away. Although as with most things in which we achieve rather desirable results, many women are going to have to give up a few habits and/or vices if they’re truly interested in getting rid of (both in the short and long-terms) facial and forehead wrinkles.
